Most people don’t believe they can lose 10 pounds fast by eating more food. It just doesn’t seem to make sense. But the fact is many people make a mistake in their diets by not eating enough. If you starve your body for an extended period of time, your body will develop cravings that eventually you will have to appease.
When you do give in and start eating after you’ve been starving yourself, you will often eat a whole lot more than you would normally eat and you’ll eat unhealthy foods because they are quick and easy.
You need to keep your blood sugar levels at normal levels throughout your day. By going long periods without food, your blood sugar levels will go down and this will lead to binge eating.
The trick to losing weight by eating is to eat more often. You can eat smaller meals. You can eat all your favorite foods. You can eat and eat and eat. Just in smaller portions. For people who love to eat, this works great.
The main point is that most people cannot sustain food deprivation for an extended period of time. Your body needs food and you will not be able to sustain any weight you lose through depriving yourself of food and starving yourself.
Any diet plan that works is one that you are able to stick with. A diet plan that calls for you to starve yourself will not be one that works in the long term. The results will be temporary.
