If you are looking to build quality muscle mass it is a lot easier to do when you have the correct information in front of you. With the correct information at your finger tips, you’ll have the knowledge to increase your muscle mass much quicker than you ever thought possible.

If you’re completely fed up with your present muscle gain, I sympathize with you completely, and I understand exactly what you are going through. I was pounding the weights for many years before I finally discovered the correct way to gain muscle mass.

This is when I discovered a gentleman by the name of Jason Ferruggia. He has dedicated more than 18 years muscle building including 14 years as an expert instructor. He is a professional strength & conditioning coach, trainer, lecturer and consultant. Jason has been featured in a whole host of magazines such as Men’s Fitness, Men’s Health and Maximum Fitness.

The Following are a couple of weight lifting tips that I’ve learned from Jason. I’ve personally found these techniques to be extremely effective in building solid muscle and adding a lot of strength in as short a time as possible.

When your working out fatigue each muscle group, with proper form, doing 3 sets of 8-12 repetitions. If yo are looking to gain muscle mass free weights are much better than machines, but they do require more attention to form.

If you do not allow for adequate recovery time in between workout sessions, your muscles may not be ready to progress. If your starting to find that you can’t lift slightly more weight each week, you’ll need to check your methods of recovery. Make sure to set aside time for your muscles to rest so they can keep growing.

Make sure to set goals for yourself. Think to yourself what you would like to achieve. In six months to a year, what would you like to see your body look like? Do you want to lift weights to gain strength for sports? Are you weightlifting to look good strutting down the beach? Do you want to lift weights to get stronger? Once you have figured out the reason why you want to lift weights you will have a great motivator to continue weightlifting.
